Early life

RZA was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent much of his youth in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and North Carolina. Exposed to various musical genres and martial arts films, he began rapping and producing at a young age. In the early 1990s, he helped form the Wu-Tang Clan, a group that would go on to revolutionize the hip hop industry.

Music career

RZA rose to prominence as the main producer and creative leader of Wu-Tang Clan. His production approach often involved dusty vinyl samples, layered drum patterns, and unique sound effects inspired by kung fu cinema. He also serves as the executive producer of the Hulu series Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
