Charles Rozell Swindoll (born October 18, 1934) is an American evangelical Christian pastor, author, educator, and radio preacher. He is the founder of Insight for Living, a widely broadcast Christian radio ministry, and is known for his biblical teaching, devotionals, and extensive writings. Swindoll also served as president and later as chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary.
Early life and education
Chuck Swindoll was born in El Campo, Texas. He attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he earned a Master of Theology degree. His early career was marked by a dedication to teaching biblical principles in a way that was practical and accessible to ordinary people.
Ministry
