GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys is a personal injury law firm based in Hayes, Virginia, serving individuals and families across Gloucester County, the Middle Peninsula, and Eastern Virginia. The firm was co-founded by attorneys Ken Gibson and John Singleton, both former United States Marines who bring military discipline, strategic focus, and a mission-first approach to every case they handle.
Ken Gibson
Ken Gibson is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Before entering private practice, he served as a Federal Prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Norfolk, Virginia. His work prosecuting violent criminals earned him a commendation from the Director of the FBI. Ken also knows the personal injury process from the other side. In his early twenties, a drunk driver struck his car, and he spent months in physical therapy dealing with insurance companies that pressured him to settle without legal representation. That experience shaped his commitment to protecting injured clients from the same tactics. Outside the courtroom, Ken serves on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors for the Petsworth District and is active with the Gloucester Point Rotary Club, the Gloucester Community Foundation, the Edge Hill House Foundation, and the Middle Peninsula Bar Association. He was named Rotarian of the Year in 2015 and is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
John Singleton
John Singleton brings a unique perspective to the firm, having previously worked for large insurance companies before switching sides to represent injured individuals. This background gives the firm direct insight into the strategies insurers use to minimize payouts. John currently serves as a Special Justice for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in mental health commitment hearings and is known for his tenacity, thorough preparation, and straightforward communication with clients. He is active in the Middle Peninsula Bar Association, The Fairfield Foundation, the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic, and Rural Housing initiatives.
