Maya Van Dien (born September 20, 2001) is an American actress best known for her roles in the feature films Sleeping Beauty (2014) and Battle for Saipan (2022).
Early life and family[edit]
Maya was born in Los Angeles, California to actors Casper Van Dien and Catherine Oxenberg. She is the older sister of Celeste Alma Van Dien (born 2003), and half-sister to Grace Van Dien (b. 1996) and Cappy Van Dien III. Her maternal heritage includes ties to European royalty through Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia.
Career[edit]
Maya made her first television appearance in 2005, alongside her family on the reality series I Married a Princess.
She went on to act in the TV movie The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation (2010), credited as Amanda Maya Van Dien.
Maya later appeared as Newt in the fantasy films Sleeping Beauty (2014) and Battle for Saipan (2022). She also played a stage manager in the series Kismet (2018) and appeared as a ballet dancer in the short film The Passion (2019).
